Requirements

• A Mac with Apple silicon. Intel Macs are not supported.
• macOS 14.2 or later.

Picky includes its own Pi runtime, so you do not need to install Pi separately. If you also use Pi in a terminal, Picky shares your Pi directory (~/.pi/agent by default) for sign-ins, plugins, and settings.

Install

1. Open Picky.dmg and drag Picky into the Applications folder.
2. Open Picky. Its icon appears in the menu bar; click it to open Picky Hub.
3. Follow the setup card in Hub to grant permissions and connect an AI account. Getting started walks through each step.

Updates

Picky checks for a newer version every 4 hours and shows it on the Hub Dashboard. Choose Update to download and install it; Picky asks before restarting if a Pickle is still working. What changed in each version is on the updates page.
