- Read the latest messages.
- Type a steer or follow-up in the composer.
- Press Return, or Option + Return for follow-up where supported.
Send next screen context to a specific Pickle
Section titled “Send next screen context to a specific Pickle”- Open the Pickle card, or right-click / Control-click its Dock icon.
- Click the status/Pickle badge, press
Cmd + K, or choose Send Next Picky Input to This Pickle. - Trigger Push-to-Talk or Quick Input.
- Send the request.
- Picky routes that input directly to the Pickle and clears the target.
To continue a longer conversation through voice or Quick Input, right-click / Control-click the Pickle in the Dock and choose Pin Picky Input to This Pickle. It remains the input target until you choose Unpin Picky Input, click the header badge again, or pin another Pickle.
Inspect or resume in terminal
Section titled “Inspect or resume in terminal”- Open the Pickle card.
- Pick the surface that fits the task:
- Card menu → Copy resume command, then paste it into your own terminal to continue the same Pi session. Afterwards, card menu → Sync from Pi session imports what you did back into the HUD card.
Cmd + Etoggles the local-shell utility panel below the card composer. It opens directly to a terminal in the Pickle cwd and is not the Pi session; use it for ad-hoc commands. Closing it does not affect the Pi session or trigger any sync.
Clean up finished Pickles
Section titled “Clean up finished Pickles”- Press and hold a dock icon, right-click → Archive, or use the card menu → Archive.
- If it was accidental, click Undo in the archive toast.
- After the toast disappears, open Hub → Settings → Pickles and workspace → Archived sessions to restore (or permanently delete) an archived Pickle. Picky also restores archived Pickles when you ask the main agent (e.g. “되살려”, “bring back that pickle”), which routes through the same
picky_unarchive_picklepath.
Customize Picky’s persona or routing rules
Section titled “Customize Picky’s persona or routing rules”You can customize Picky in two complementary ways:
By talking to Picky (no editor required):
- Send a persistent instruction to the Picky main agent — for example, “from now on, when I ask about the picky repo, start the Pickle in
~/Projects/pickyand follow that AGENTS.md.” - Picky follows it for the current turn and edits
AGENTS.mdto record the rule. Pickle-specific guidance lands under## Pickle execution; other persistent rules land under the most relevant section. - Picky tells you which section was changed. The next main session loads the updated rules automatically.
One-off facts (“my OpenAI key lives at ~/.config/foo”) are stored in the built-in memory tool when available, or in a sibling NOTES.md referenced from AGENTS.md — they do not pollute the persona file.
By hand-editing the file (full control):
- Open
~/Library/Application Support/Picky/Workspace/AGENTS.mdin any editor. - Edit the persona, rules for specific kinds of work, or any other instructions.
- Save. The next Picky main session picks up the changes.
To experiment without touching the default, point Hub → Settings → Accounts and agents → Main agent → Main agent working folder at a fresh folder containing its own AGENTS.md and switch back when you’re done.
Resume the main agent session in a real Pi terminal
Section titled “Resume the main agent session in a real Pi terminal”- Open Hub → Conversation.
- Click Copy resume command and paste
pi --session ...into your own shell. - Work directly in the Pi TUI. Hub keeps following the same session file.
